Pfizer Animal Health is taking an innovative step into the future, placing the most recognized value-added whole herd health protocol, Pfizer Gold, in an alliance with the newly created BIXS, developed by the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association as part of their Canadian Beef Advantage strategy.

Of course, the foundation of the Pfizer Gold program remains, still offering producers vaccination protocols that cattlemen have trusted for many years. Just like Pfizer vaccines have continuously improved and evolved over the years, Pfizer Gold is now taking a major step forward by allowing all the value chain members to get access through BIXS to the immunization information, from cow/calf producers to feedlot producers to packers.

Pfizer Animal Health sees that new initiative as a major component of the future of the industry. Information sharing will help all producers to improve their herds based on the information shared along the value chain.
